What makes this shelter great?

They are the nation's largest no-kill shelter, and they change perceptions through "Strut Your Mutt" walks in various communities. I do not represent the company - I found my girl, a beautiful, well-trained (by BFAS) great dane, there 13 years ago. She was the greatest companion anyone could ever ask to find.

There was an excellent, very informative TV series some yrs ago about the wonderful work being done at this shelter. I especially applaud them for taking care of disabled & unadoptable animals.

I have supported Best Friends financially for years. They do an extraordinary job in finding homes for adoptable animals and taking care of special needs animals and others that are less adoptable for the rest of their lives.
