What makes this shelter great?

I've not only adopted a cat from Happy Tails, but I volunteer there now as well because of the amazing work that they continue to do. Happy Tails is a no-kill, cage-free, all-volunteer run animal shelter. They work hard to increase community awareness about TNR programs and are hoping to expand their adoption center building at some point in the future by building a second story. A $10,000 grant would allow them to continue to save lives in the Sacramento area and provide a safe, nurturing environment for the animals they rescue.
